Customer Marketing Manager

You work to build stronger relationships with customers through engaging marketing campaigns and are invigorated by a singular mission: To build a community of fanatic brand advocates. You understand that effective customer marketing must increase customer advocacy (including referrals, testimonials, references, etc.), and increase loyalty and retention.

An effective communicator who acts as a liaison between customers and the rest of the organization, working collaboratively with other departments to create an incredible customer experience and reach business goals comes naturally to you.

Responsibilities:

  • Build rapport with customers to help marketing and sales meet business objectives through customer advocacy initiatives
  • Identify key customers that can act as a marketing channel through case studies, speaking opportunities, etc.
  • Craft compelling customer success stories and work with the marketing team to amplify these stories across multiple channels
  • Manage a library of up-to-date customer success stories
  • Lead and manage customer engagement and communication programs, such as in-person/virtual events, workshops, annual conferences, awards programs, onboarding and ongoing nurture campaigns

Qualifications:

  • Education or experience with a foundation in communications, marketing, and business
  • Previous experience in customer-facing roles (ex. Customer Marketing, Customer Service, Customer Success, or Account Management experience)
  • Technical knowledge of marketing technology, including CRM and marketing automation platforms (Hubspot, Salesforce, etc)
  • Experience creating and executing marketing campaigns and programs that drive customer engagement and advocacy
  • Excellent writing skills for both long and short-form copy is a necessity; graphic design capabilities are a plus
  • Familiarity with B2B marketing and sales processes
  • Superb attention to detail
  • Bonus points: First-hand knowledge of the CX space, ecommerce and retail
